- Freeport Historical Society: Learn more about the history of ice cream in the US (including why a White House chef is considered the father of ice cream) while we make one of Fannie Farmer’s century-old New England recipes for chocolate ice cream. You’ll need arm strength and patience in order to enjoy ice cream the old-fashioned way. 2 Sessions* 1PM and 3PM
